Insulating Limestone Homes in Centre Wellington
A solid limestone wall stays dry because heat from inside the house warms it and helps it dry out through the stone. Insulating the inside face cuts off that heat, so the stone runs colder and wetter through Wellington County's freeze-thaw winters. Joist ends buried in the stone are especially vulnerable.

Heritage Downtowns and Exterior Changes
Downtown Elora and Fergus are full of heritage buildings, and some properties are designated under the Ontario Heritage Act. Interior insulation normally leaves the exterior untouched, so it rarely conflicts with heritage rules. If your work affects the outside of a designated property, such as new vents or siding, check with the Township of Centre Wellington before starting.

Can you spray foam the inside of a stone wall?
Sometimes, but only with a moisture plan. We look at the wall's condition, drainage and joist ends first, and in many homes we recommend upgrading the attic and basement before the walls.
How far north of Guelph do you travel?
Fergus and Elora are about 25 minutes away and fully within our regular area. Larger farm and commercial jobs further north are booked by arrangement.
Do you insulate drive sheds and workshops?
Yes, they're some of our most common rural jobs. Closed cell foam goes directly on the steel to stop condensation.
